Introducing the stand up "Billy Stick"!

We custom designed the Billy Stick to fix the problems we have seen with other trolling rods:

1. 1.8 Meters in length - not too long for storage, and the reel seat and butt can be removed for packing in even tighter spaces.

2. Single piece aluminum reel seat and butt with deep gimbal grooves for a secure lock on your fighting belt. Gimbal cover is included.

3. 6 roller guides instead of the standard 5. This keeps your line off the rod when the monsters come calling, and gives added strength to the rod.

4. Swivel tip - prevents your line from wrapping around the rod tip when the first bite comes up short, or when the fish you have always dreamed of  launches into the air with dazzling acrobatics.

5. Rod is solid fiberglass - Solid fiberglass outperforms the modern e-glass, and carbon fiber rods when it comes to durability. Rated for 130lb line, it's tough enough to take whatever kind of abuse you can dish out. When I was young, I got to look at my Grandfather's favorite old fishing pole. It was still around, because it was solid fiberglass. You just don't see Grandad's favorite ole rod around anymore, because they all break. A lesson from the old school.

6. Large Reel Seat - This bruiser of a reel seat is big enough to handle the big foot of any reel, including the giant Penn 16/0 reel! Curved butt will be available on our next order for those who like the fighting chair. (We have 5 on Seiya Maru if you want to see what they look like).

7. Eva Foam Grip for your comfort. Strong material that resists wear, and won't peel apart like other grips. Helps you go the distance with the big boys.

8. Attractive - This rod is attractive in both design and functionality. Anyone would be proud of owning one of these custom made beauties.
